Neta Pyasi, VP of Operations at Benevity
As Vice President, Operations at Benevity, Neta works closely with Benevity's Product and Engineering teams to develop the world's most robust and reliable global charitable disbursements platform. Prior to Benevity, Neta held various leadership positions at Shareworks by Morgan Stanley (previously Solium Capital) in Product Management, Client Services, Operations and Finance. Originally from the Startup Nation, Israel, Neta grew up in the United States and moved to Calgary in 2007. She completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University and earned an Executive MBA from the University of Calgary. Neta volunteers with local organizations such as Junior Achievement Alberta, Mt. Royal Finance Mock Interview program, and the Child Foundation of Canada in support of Canada's social sector response to the outbreak of COVID in India. She is also a member of the Community Relations Committee of the Calgary Jewish Federation and a co-chair of the Chai Employee Resource Group at Benevity.
Maxine Smith, Manager, Product Management at Symend
Maxine Smith is a Manager of Product Management at Symend, with nearly 6 years of experience in the fintech product space. Her primary focus is to oversee Symend's transactional platform, which plays a crucial role in facilitating user activities and is designed with a strong emphasis on user experience. With a background in finance and marketing, Maxine has acquired her product education through pragmatic marketing, extensive reading, and podcasts. However, her most valuable learning has come from solving real problems on the job. During weekends, you'll find her hiking, running, cooking or enjoying quality time with loved ones.
Maryheth Cabrera, Co-Founder & CPO, Woveo
Maryheth Cabrera is the co-founder and head of product at Woveo, with over seven years of experience in creative roles, including a degree in Filmmaking and diplomas in Multimedia production. She specializes in developing innovative solutions for mobile applications, digital campaigns, websites, audiovisual content, and sound experiences across Latin America, the USA, and Canada. Having immigrated to Canada in 2018, Maryheth knows first-hand the financial struggles of joining a new economy; this experience has fueled her unwavering commitment to her work at Woveo and given her a distinctive perspective on the obstacles individuals and businesses face when navigating similar situations. She profoundly understands emerging technologies and industry trends and is dedicated to delivering outstanding results through creative problem-solving and technical expertise.

Spencer Yarnell, Product Lead, Neo
Spence is a Product Lead at Neo Financial where he currently leads the product teams for payments and new deposit products. He has been with Neo since the July of 2019 when Neo was ten people and based out of Assembly coworking space. Before Neo, Spence was in product at SkiptheDishes where he joined prior to the acquisition and worked on the customer, restaurant and courier side of the business - typically focusing on the external facing apps.
